problem with network

I can`t start network with kernel26viper

module for my pcmicia card is xirc2ps-cs

#modprobe xirc2ps-cs
#ifconfig eth0 up
No su device eth0

/etc/pcmcia/config.opts is true, with stock arch kernel network starts

any tips to solve this problem?

try

dmesg | grep eth

This should show you which eth device is being used for ur card(s)

the pcmcia card is Xircom, module is xirc2ps-cs

try running ifconfig without any parameters, that should tell you what network devices you have.

Kernel cant load cs for this pcmcia!!
