640x350 59.77 I should also add that I'm currently utilizing the laptop screen (2560x1440 165Hz) alongside a drawing display (1920x1080 60Hz). One of the reasons of why I'm using Wayland is that I read it's better support of dual monitors, however I have the same results when running under X11. Both screens seem to be at 60Hz.
Weirdly enough, in my first boot everything was fine. Both screens were running at max refresh rates, but after a fast reboot (no changes were made) I started having this issue.

I thank you for reading this far and appreciate any thoughts, if additional info is required I'm happy to provide.
Thanks in advance.

God bless the backups. I created a dummy user and moved all of the files from /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/ to a backup folder, in addition I also followed: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … phics_only. SDDM broke and I couldn't type nor move the cursor, had to boot from a usb stick, mount the partitions and deactivate sddm from there. After that I logged in my usual user and started sddm (after putting the files back as well). As dummy I couldn't start X and got the following error:

[puffer@192 ~]$ I should also add that I have nvidia-optimus installed.

Always backup important files when editing it.

I should also add that I have nvidia-optimus installed.
Note: All of these options are mutually exclusive, if you test one approach and decide for another, you must ensure to revert any configuration changes done by following one approach before attempting another method, otherwise file conflicts and undefined behaviours may arise.
Do you mean this?: https://github.com/Askannz/optimus-manager
Try disabling / uninstalling it.
Some other things worth checking:
- Check your SDDM script
- Enable early nVIDIA's KMS loading

I'm aware. I mean this by nvidia-prime: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME
I've heard it's a great alternative to optimus/bumblebee.
I use the default sddm script but I'll check the links. And I already have nvidia on early loading. I'll look more into it after today's work stuff.

At least is the official one...
#Using PRIME render offload - official method supported by NVIDIA.
Should be also "old enough" in order to be well stabilized and usable. (cit.: <<NVIDIA... F*** YOU!>>
)
PRIME render offload
NVIDIA driver since version 435.17 supports this method.
(https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME# … er_offload)

I've taken a look at the links you send me and honestly I'm not sure I get it... should I just wait for an update? I'd also like to add that in my nvidia-settings I'm missing several options (even under X) in regards to my display options. I can't seem to find options in regard to my refresh rate even when I run it as sudo. Not sure why.
In addition, for all it's worth: sudo journalctl -p 1
