[SOLVED] How to switch from nvidia-open to nvidia proprietary drivers

I have a GTX 1660 Super and from my research - NVENC doesn't work on the open source drivers. It's not detected at all by kdenlive and OBS. I really want to have that functionality. In that case; can I just say yes to the prompt below? Is it going to break something?

❯ paru -S nvidia
resolving dependencies...
looking for conflicting packages...
:: nvidia and nvidia-open are in conflict (NVIDIA-MODULE). Remove nvidia-open? [y/N]

❯ paru -Q | grep nvidia
nvidia-open 520.56.06-3
nvidia-utils 520.56.06-2

NVENC works now without any extra tweaking. It just seemed too easy. Thanks brother.
