Hey guys, just did a fresh install of arch this week using
archinstallon my IdeaPad S145-15IIL and I have some questions + have some issues...
1. some (not all) FN keys don't seem to work, the brightness keys are the ones really bothering me but the sound volume keys work just fine,
acpi_listendoes not output anything if I press the brightness keys (and some other ones as well) so this might be an acpi issue?
2. This might be a software issue that I have no idea how to solve: I have KDE plasma running on my system and everytime the laptop goes to suspend the touchpad gets disabled (KDE even shows a notification for this after waking up) but works fine if I go to the touchpad settings in KDE and enable it using the keyboard, even the gestures work after afterwards. So this is not a hardware/driver issue right? I've actually been trying to figure out a way to run a script on wake up to solve this, but I haven't figured out what KDE does internally to reenable the touchpad I've tried to use
kriteconfig5and
kreadconfig5to try and change settings but that dosen't seem to work.
Here is some information about my system
