hello!
sometimes there are problems with some third-party repos. so i have to disable them in pacman.conf. it would be better to do this like the ignore-option for packages. something like pacman -Sy --ignore-repo [foobar].
would be nice to add this in pacman 3!
thx, mfg iggy
sorry for my bad english

If you want to ignore a repo why do you add them?
I cannot really get your point.

I assume he wants to temporarily ignore a repo.
Its not a bad idea. Best place to post this request is http://bugs.archlinux.org/

I cannot think of a situation that is usefull. (Sorry for my ignorance ^^)
Well the only situation is that there is a package in two reposities with the same namen. But then you can specify it via reposity/package.

i use e17. there is a repo where are third-party-packages. but sometimes they are buggy und i have to wait for an update. and during this time i want to ignore all packages doing an update. but i want to sync the repo, because i want to see, if there are new packages. so you understand what i want? i think pacman is the best package-manager out there and every feature will support this!
@dusty: how can i realize this! i never used a bugtracker before!
