Simple appplication to cut images

Hi,

i offen create eBooks (epub) from scanned books. The epub editor i use is calibre editor or sigil. Both can open an image with an application like gimp to edit the image. Sometimes i have to cut parts from the edges for a huge number of images. When its always the same i can simply use a script with image magick. when i have to do the same job for every image gimp isn't a good application - i need to many clicks for each job. Is there an application where i can load an image cut x pixel from one or more sides (with a preview) and then save it?

How about Nomacs (c key like crop and drag from the edge) or PhotoFlare ?
