Go from boot > greeter > WM w/o monitor resolution changes/flickers?

I'm running the following:

Arch Linux
- Kernel 6.0.6
- Intel iGPU
- Early KMS in initramfs
- Greetd Greeter
- wlgreet with Sway
- Sway window manager
- Wayland

When I boot the computer, Kernel is setting the resolution to my monitor's native resolution and refresh rate very early via KMS and Initramfs. However, before the greeter appears, I see several screen flickers that look like resolution changes before the greeter is visible. Then when I log in, I see more screen flickers before Sway starts.  And when I log out, and return to the greeter, more screen flickers.

In all cases, the resolution is still my monitor's native resolution and refresh rate. Meaning the kernel is setting the resolution to 5120x1440@120hz, the greeter is using the same resolution, and so is my window manager after I log in. This can be confirmed through the monitor OSD. I can go into the monitor settings, go the information section and boot the computer. It shows the resolution and refresh rate is the same the entire time.

It's like each step is resetting the resolution to what it's already at for no reason and causing screen flickering.

I'm not sure why there are so many resolution switches.

Is it possible to transition from boot to greeter to window manager without all the flickering?
