Pipewire - Airpods Max can output on A2DP but silence on HSP/HFC

Hi All,
I'm running into an odd problem - attempting to output sound to my headset via HSP/HFC (Using any codec) results in silence, despite me seeing movement on the monitor level on the desktop.  I can't see any errors in the logs, and I've followed the troubleshooting steps in the wiki for Pipewire.

Has anyone ran into anything similar?  Or could recommend additional debug steps - I'm honestly much less familiar with pipewire than pulse, so a bit of a learning gap on my end!

Did you see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Blueto … low_volume and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Blueto … th_HSP/HFP ? Maybe try the vodoo fix of deleting the bluetooth cache and re-pairing.

I did - unfortunately neither worked.  I did see the log message referenced in this thread in my kernel log though: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire … ssues/1827 - My guess is that in the short term getting a bluetooth USB adapter is the quickest resolution, although might hack at this one to see if I can resolve in the longer term.  Appreciate the help
