[SOLVED] Left + right shift change keyboard layout in Gnome

Hi. I'm migrating from i3 to Gnome. In i3 I used grp:shifts_toggle to set both shift keys for changing the keyboard layout. I want to disable this behavior in Gnome which runs on Wayland btw. So far I've looked into gnome tweaks and the options for changing keyboard layout with both shifts was disabled, I deleted the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf file and restarted my machine (although I don't know if it has any effect at all since I'm using Wayland) and checked for xinitrc and xprofile (neither of them existed). Any suggestions?

Re: [SOLVED] Left + right shift change keyboard layout in Gnome

Turns out Gnome copied my 00-keyboard.conf config to org.gnome.desktop.input-sources xkb-options. changing it using gsettings solved the problem.
