There is only one journal app logjam 4.5.3-1 which is accessable as it is in community. Few others are there but they are in "unsupported" and hence not accessable through pacman. Arch certainly needs a few good journal/diary applications.
There are lot such apps for linux..

Coul someone like to build and include them in arch...
Also please recommend/suggest which journal/diary app is best..

Absolutely all the journal/diary links (homepages and downloads) are broken.

there are 3 journal/diary in AUR, one is drivel which is livejournal client. another one is ejourn which seems to be local diary (what i need). third one is logjam. Installed drivel, but dont think thats of any use for me since it is for blogging. Checked out ejourn, but it is orphan and the source seemed a little suspicious and hence did not install. the third logjam doesnt have any tarball, etc., only CVS is there, dont know what to do with that. Are there any other writing tools available in arch repository?
