Why is mangohud still not in the community repository?

Mangohud has been in the aur for about 2 years now, even FreeBSD has added it to the official repository, and only Arch linux keeps it in the user repository. Of course, you can advise to install it from the AUR, but this is not very good in terms of security. Moreover, he has already gained 200 votes, and it is very strange that he is still not in the community.

TUs are not required to move a package into the community repository even if it has thousands of votes. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_U … epository?

Re: Why is mangohud still not in the community repository?

A package only enters the official repos if a TU or developer has the time and interest to do so. Obviously this isn't the case with mangohud otherwise it would have already happened.
If you don't like this answer then feel free to return your copy of Arch and ask for a refund.
