[SOLVED]Lenovo thinkpad X270 fingerprint sensor not detected

Hello,

Recently i bought a used lenovo thinkpad X270. Installed arch with kde and I want to use a built-in fingerprint sensor to log in. After using lsusb the fingerprint sensor wasn't there. After that i went into bios because there was an fingerprint sensor option. After choosing erase all fingerprints, i got a message saying that there is no fingerprint sensor detected? I think it's a hardware problem. Is there any possibility that this isn't a hardware problem?

Welcome to the forums.

Sanity check: why do you think your machine has a fingerprint sensor exactly?
