Folding@home will not work

I want to participate in f@h so I installed it but it is not working. I installed the foldingathome package with pacman. I then added the "foldingathome" daemon to my rc.conf file. Then I configured it an setup my username and joined the Archlinux team. Did I miss a step ?

No everything seemed fine. How many minutes (being idle) does it take for it to continue running ? I have gnome-screensaver installed too. Will that cause a problem ?

Re: Folding@home will not work

The screen saver should not be a problem , but FAH runs at Nice 19 , so System Sleep and the various power conserving settings will slow it down.
if you look with Top in a terminal , you should see a Core running at close to 100%.   i.e.  FahCore_78.exe   - FahCore_79.exe

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
16046 knoppix 28 13 121m 102m 1392 S 0 10.5 0:00.00 FahCore_78.exe
16045 knoppix 39 19 121m 102m 1392 R 100 10.5 421:46.17 FahCore_78.exe

16043 knoppix 28 13 121m 102m 1392 S 0 10.5 0:01.07 FahCore_78.exe
16039 knoppix 25 0 26656 828 592 S 0 0.1 0:08.67 fah5

OK , you can laugh about the live boot Knoppix if you want lol
