Hello, i have an issue with a D-Link USB wireless adapter (DWA-121): i can't connect it to my wi-fi.
I currently use NetworkManager, and i also use nmcli to manage the interface.
The output of ip link for the interface is:
ip link
6: wlp0s16u3: <NO-CARRIER,BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP> mtu 1500 qdisc mq state DOWN mode DORMANT group default qlen 1000
link/ether a0:a3:f0:70:56:cf brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ffThe interface in question is wlp0s16u3.
When i try to set up the interface with nmcli the error is:
nmcli device up wlp0s16u3
Error: Connection activation failed: (4) The device could not be readied for configuration. One thing i noted is that the device is not listed with iw dev:

Hard blocked: noApparently it soft blocked again.By the way, is phy0 the wireless usb adapter? I also have a wireless card in the laptop.
phy0 is probably the internal wifi card.
Loading the r8188eu module with the option rtw_power_mgnt=0 may help. If not, the AUR package 8188eu-dkms-git will give you a better driver.
