I have a problem with root directory right now as it doesn't have any space in it. I found a guide on how to mount a partition in another partition
I don't want to wreck my pc in the process in case anything goes wrong so is there a way for me to at least reverse any changes i make?

I don't know how that guide applies to your situation as it doesn't really have any content other than how mounting works in general. But for your current question, the only realistic answer is "no."
One could set up a system with snapshots on a CoW filesystem like btrfs (or I believe zfs), but this would be done ahead of time, you cannot set these up retroactively. You could make a backup of anything you see as important (which everyone should always be doing regardless), but you'd need somewhere to store this backup.
Of course if anything does go wrong, you can FIX it ... just not by waving a magic "undo" wand, but by learning and understanding. In fact, breaking things and learning to recover is how a vast majority of us learned most of what we know about linux and computers in general.

i used du on my " / " folder and i couldn't find out since the files in it are a lot of files but i used gnome's disk analyzer and found that mingw is taking up a lot of space. so i ask , is it ok if i delete mingw since i already use gcc?

It isn't going to be crucial to booting Arch, if that's what you're asking. You might need its functionality for something, but you can always reinstall it later if you need to.
