For some time now if I enable the shared clipboard (Guest->Host, Host->Guest, Bidirectional) in a Windows-7 virtual machine, I can;t copy paste file in the host. Coping text work. Have anyone else a similar problem? I use KDE in a fully updated system.

Didn't ever know VirtualBox could copy-paste files bidirectionally...
But what if you set-up Shared Folders in VirtualBox?

It's not about the files. It's the clipboard.

Virtualbox only supports the X11 clipboard so shared clipboard will only work for Xwayland applications. Interestingly, you won't have this issue with Gnome, seems they've somehow synced both X11 and Wayland clipboards.

But I am not using Wayland. And the clipboard works. The thing that doesn;t work is copy and pasting files to the host system when shared clipboard is enabled.
