Nautilus crash after launch

I am trying to launch Nautilus on my GNOME DE and it crashes. It used to worked correctly, so no sure what made the difference.

open-any-terminal: terminal is set to "alacritty" opening a new window

Bail out! ERROR:../nautilus/src/nautilus-file.c:610:nautilus_file_new_from_filename: assertion failed: (filename[0] != '\0')

Any hints on this one? Thanks.

Re: Nautilus crash after launch

This is the related issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/2539

I create screenshots using scrot and put it into the clipboard using xclip and Nautilus crashes when after a screenshot, clearing your clipboard prevents the crash. (i.e. copying text from somewhere)

Alternatively you could try downgrading the app.

Re: Nautilus crash after launch

Thanks for that reference. I am trying to reproduce the bug as in that issue but it does not seem to be the case.
Not sure if the issue got fixed, but my error has not appeared anymore in the last few days.
