[SOLVED] How to remove a dependency without removing main package?

i recently tried to install unity-meta package. See here for more.
but I get libreoffice as a dependency which is pretty much unnecessary, so how to remove it without removing unity?

Either build it yourself from the AUR where that dependency is not included, or just get the PKGBUILD that is used for that repo you linked to and remove the dependency from the meta-package and rebuild it - there's not much to it.
