[solved] qutebrowser hangs xmonad

I have used qutebrowser and xmonad for years now and have never had this issue before. It started two days ago for no apparent reason.

When I launch qutebrowser, I can use qutebrowser just fine: However, xmonad will then cease to respond to any keybindings. When I switch to another tty and launch htop, I can see that xmonad consumes 100% CPU resources on one thread. Killing qutebrowser will not resolve the utilization or unresponsiveness issue.

I checked sudo journalctl | grep qutebrowser and sudo journalctl | grep xmonad, but nothing turned up for the time in question. An online search did not yield anything helpful either. I'd be glad to hear your advice on how to troubleshoot this, thank you!

Solved. I reinstalled qutebrowser and deleted its session file, now the issue is gone. My best guess is some broken webapp, not sure if there is a way to find out.
