Bluetooth working in KDE but not in GNOME

Hi,

I'm running into a weird issue on my Thinkpad L14 notebook.
I can configure bluetooth via KDE systemsettings, but not via gnome-control-center

systemsettings

gnome-control-center

I don't really know how all the different components work together
bluez, bluetooth.service, bluetoothctl, systemsettings, gnome-control-center.
So I'm a bit at a loss here. Can someone point me at where to troubleshoot this
issue?

I want to keep using gnome as my DE and want to use its control-center to
connect my bluetooth devices.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Bluetooth working in KDE but not in GNOME

Did you activate the switch at the top right (aside the bluetooth title tag) to enable bluetooth? smile

Re: Bluetooth working in KDE but not in GNOME

Yes, i tried that. The switch has no effect.

Addendum:

I know that bluetooth did work at one point.
But then it stopped working (in gnome).
It may have to do something with plugging in my USB-C docking station.
(But that's just a guess. I can't pinpoint when exacactly it stopped working)
Now the docking station is disconnected. I did a fresh boot and its not working.
