[solved, i guess?] Some keys print random things

I reinstalled arch recently and when for example i want to change to tty2 (Ctrl - alt - f2) it prints the letter B instead, when using Backspace it prints ^H, Ctrl shift v prints 4 characters and caps lock does not work.

In what context? Linux console? X11 terminal? Wayland terminal?
"B" in response to ctrl+alt+f2 suggest that the modifiers are ignored and only the F2 is passed (on the linux console)
