Weird widow decoration appearance when scaling monitors

Hi all. My ystem is:

Kernel Version : 6.0.12.zen1-1
Plasma Version : 5.26.4-1
KDE Version : 22.12.0-1
Frameworks Version : 5.101.0-1
Qt5 Version : 5.15.7+kde+r6-2
Wayland Version : 1.21.0-2

I have tried to modify the scale factor of my laptop screen (14"1920x1080) to 130% in order to try to match font appearance with my second monitor (24" 1920x1080).
It works!
Almost.
Window title bar font has a chunky appearance while anything else displays OK.

I have played a little bit with the "Font antialiasing" settings: no luck.
This is not a big problem to me, I can live with it. But ...
What am I doing wrong?

I have played a little bit with the "Font antialiasing" settings: no luck.

Disable subpixel rendering.
I suspect what happens is that the clients are rendered at the lower resolution for the eDP while the deco as part of the compositor just gets scaled and the scaling blows up the (wrong) subpixels.
You might have to re-login to make kwin honor the change…

It didn't work: same aspect even after a complete reboot.

Tried a different decoration/breeze ? Breeze is the "canonical" implementation, the more themable decoration using the Aurorae engine are fundamentally different and there might be some issues there. FWIW an attempt to fix this was made in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422342 but according to the last comment it seems to not quite have had the desired effect.

Breeze window decorations fixes the problem with the chunky font. But it is not the style I want!
Can this be considered a bug of the decorations I have been using so far (Plastik)?

Probably not the exact decoration per se but everything going the Aurorae code path, there are quite a few bugs listed if you just generally look at https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?bug_st … oduct=kwin

Anyway, the problem is not limited to decorations, so it's more likely at a different level (KWin?).
Look here.
The strings "Will revert to..." and "130%" are displayed in a weird way.
Also browser (chromum, thus GTK+) notifications show weird fonts...
