I've purchased Sven SPS-619 speakers, brought them home, connected to my Windows 10 laptop and began listening. Sound okey, volume alright, but something was off. Compared them to 2 other computer speakers around the house and decided that speakers are okey, but not great.
Then I hooked them up to my Arch laptop, XFCE. Guys. On laptop volume is 100% exactly, I had to reduce volume on speakers (knob on speakers themselves) so that the speakers don't blow.. Reduced it to around 60 to 70% from the all the way up and speakers still sound way louder than on Windows 10, WAAAAY more louder.
What's happening here? Windows laptop is not cheap, Lenovo W520 with i7. Linux laptop is cheap, HP Stream 14-cb1xxx with N4020 celeron. Perhaps my Linux is configured wrong?
