What's the trashrc file?

In my ~/.config/ directory there's a textfile called "trashrc"  with as only content:

[Status]
Empty=false

I use i3-wm with Nautilus as file manager. (I figured this might be relevant)
Can anyone give me some more information about this file and whether I need it?

Re: What's the trashrc file?

You don't need anything under ~/.config.  Anything there can safely be removed, though any personal preferences defined there will be lost.  As there's little of substance in that file, it should be harmless (unless the default for the relevant software is Empty=true, you might be surprised by files being removed from a trash folder).

However, if you didn't create this file yourself, it will likely just be recreated nest time the relevant software runs.
