[SOLVED] a big mess after testing community-testing

things just not working right

and i can't just reinstall it due to deep dependence tree...

problem

    import cv2 as cv
ImportError: libtiff.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

tried

➜ ~ sudo pacman -Rdd libtiff lib32-libtiff
➜ ~ pac lib32-libtiff libtiff blender djvulibre freeimage gdk-pixbuf2 gegl ghostscript graphicsmagick gtk4 hugin imlib2 lcms2 leptonica lib32-gdk-pixbuf2 lib32-lcms2 lib32-libcups lib32-sdl_image libpano13 libwebp netpbm openimageio openjpeg2 openshadinglanguage podofo python-pillow tesseract vigra --overwrite "*" --noconfirm

but there a lot more warnings and errors - target not found - is newer than community - and blah-blah-blah

so it's really get complicated..

removing libcups breaks dependency 'libcups' required by qt6-base

Did you only enable community-testing?
The testing repos are all or nothing - you have to enable all of them or none of them.

Please post your pacman config.

So you have two options then. either remove all of the testing repos or enable the ones that you didn't bother with.

As you didn't post the output of the command that I requested then I can be of no further help.

Re: [SOLVED] a big mess after testing community-testing

pacman -Syuu  -- already do the job, thanks

remove all of the testing repos - not real due to dependencies, please read my post above

Re: [SOLVED] a big mess after testing community-testing

Ah!   Then please go ahead and edit your first post, edit the title and prepend [SOLVED] to the title,
Thanks.
