I have tried to reinstall the arch multiple times yet to no avail.
bluetoothclt always results in

No default controller available
lsmod | grep btusb

outputs nothing so i modprobed it. The outputs are

btrtl 28672 1 btusb

bluetooth 937984 12 btrtl,btmtk,btintel,btbcm,bnep,btusb

the status of bluetooth service is

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

Welcome to the forums.  It does not not appear that you have any Bluetooth hardware.
Is this a virtual machine?
Please post the unfiltered output of lspci

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

Unless the Realtek RTL8723DE does Bluetooth, I don't see anything else that might on the PCI bus.  There was nothing on the USB bus either.
Are you sure that system is supposed to have Bluetooth?

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

Windows.

I bet fast boot is turned on in Windows, and Windows is antisocial.  You need to disable fastboot

https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disa … st-startup
https://help.uaudio.com/hc/en-us/articl … ailable%22.
https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-tu … t-startup/

And, it is a zombie.  It will reanimate itself -- you have to keep turning it off, pretty much anytime Windows updates, or when Microsoft gets a whim.  The only way to be sure is to nuke it from orbit (uninstall Windows and use the space foe something useful like cat videos)

... but i digress.

Turn of Windows fast boot and make sure Windows really, really shuts down rather than just pretending to.  Then boot Linux and try Bluetooth again.

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

Is this a laptop? Not only you need to disable fast boot but sometimes you need to take out the battery to completely reset the chips.

My shitty laptop has this problem

The battery isnt a click slide one so to remove it i would have to open up entire back panel of my laptop

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

That would be last resort measure in that case, try everything else first

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

ugjka, you need to treat yourself to a better system.

Pratham-saraf, Did you check it?  Microsoft is being particularly antisocial with this 'feature' and they really do turn it back on randomly no mater how many times you turn it off.

Re: The bluetooth on my system isnt working

Well, all I can suggest is to boot into Windows and find out what type of device it is and which bus it is on.   If it does not show up under Linux on either the USB or PCI busses, there is not much you can do.

Maybe the manufacturer of your system does not like Linux and is hiding things.  You may have to pass an kernel command line parameter from your boot loader to tell the kernel to lie about what it is to the system firmware.  https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.14/a … eters.html ; see 'acpi_os_name'

lspci shows what is on the PCI bus, lsusb shows what is on the USB bus(es).
