IWD. Add interface to adapter

Hello!

I've been using Arch Linux for some time, and I found it great! (but, this is the first time I write here).

I think this could be a very simple thing -in fact it seems so-, but I googled for some hours -and played with iwctl- and I've not been able to find anything useful.

Well, the point is that I am trying how it works iwd. And I want to setup the wifi with a managed network and an AP network.

I know that is is possible in this machine, because iw phy tells me this combination is ok, and also because a have no much problem to do it using "iw ... inteface add ap type __ap", and then using hostapd (and using wpa_supplicant for the managed network).

Also, I aware the iwd does an "active management of the network interfaces", and reading the "iwd.wiki.kernel.org" and the man pages it seems that iwd would have to be able to create netdevs (and it seems to be expected due to that "active management"), but I was not able to find the way.
(I suppose it would be the same solution: ...and for the case of two managed networks... how could it be "created" the second netdev?)

Any help would be appreciate :-)
Regards
Josep

Welcome to the Arch Linux community!

Check out the Arch Wiki page for iwd/iwctl . If you read it carefully you should be able to find what you are looking for.

Happy reading smile
