EDIT: This issue has been resolved.
---
This is a continuation of this thread where a Broadcom device was no longer being recognized after an update to kernel 6.1.4. Following the installation of the patched kernel, systemd refuses to load SDDM.
I have booted into a live USB to chroot into the system to potentially finish a partial upgrade. That didn't resolve the issue.
Output of pacman -Qs 'linux|nvidia'
dkms status produced nothing.

This is from the logs you posted in your previous forum thread - is that still accurate? This suggests no errors when running sddm.

That is still accurate. What might be more indicative of the problem is that nvidia-uvm is failing to load.

For 6.1.1 (partial downgrade) and likely loqs' kernel as well (because of the naming scheme) you'll probably need nvidia-dkms and the fitting linux-headers package.

Installed loqs' linux-headers and nvidia-dkms. It all works again now! I have it running on loqs' patched 6.1.4.
Thank you all for your help!

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
Edit: fyi, virtualbox has the same problem.
