First off, brand new to Arch. I dig the philosophy. Thanks for being here. I'm an old, dumb WV hillbilly, been phreaking since I had a c64, I get distracted easily so I'll try not to meander too much.
So, trying to install Arch 2023.01.01 on my AtomicPi because I'm at my wits end trying to get cups and armbian to snuggle on my bananapi...they ain't having it. I finally get Arch booting from the SD. Get logged in and am welcomed with (I'm paraphrasing can't copy paste, or even scroll in the terminal)
root install instructions blah blah, connect using iwctl, after connect read the install guide.
every command came back with invalid command. WTF? So I registered on here to discuss. Rebooted the machine so I can give verbatim what was going on. Everything worked this time. No idea why...glitch in the matrix?
So forget all that. I'm glad y'all are here. I think I'm going to enjoy my stay and hopefully I can bring something to the table other than disdain from an old curmudgeon.

You'd better ask on Arch Linux ARM's Forum
<49,17,III,I> Fama di loro il mondo esser non lassa;
<50,17,III,I> misericordia e giustizia li sdegna:
<51,17,III,I> non ragioniam di lor, ma guarda e passa.

The BananaPi is an ARM board, so it only runs ArchARM which is a completely different distro to Arch.
If you're using the AtomicPi then you need to use the standard x64 version...
I think that you're getting confused between different distributions.

A somewhat confusing post with clearly confus{ed,ing} replies...
Welcome to Arch, anyway.
Since there isn't an actual question/problem anymore ("forget all that"), maybe the OP would fit better in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=32421
