Are the games using your NVIDIA card? Sounds like they aren't.
I think https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME is the relevant page but I don't do NVIDIA so you should probably wait for somebody who does.

prime-run glxinfo -BFor many windows games you'll need lib32-nvidia-utils and finally, try to disable the compositor (SHIFT+alt+F12)
Offline
A 550M is Fermi so you'd need nvidia-390xx and one of the older methods of enabling Optimus https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA_Optimus
Frankly this card even if you make use of the nvidia card via Optimus is quite lowend and you shouldn't expect much of it, especially so if you invoke the copy overhead via the intel card

it should be able to run … the game on linux 0 A.D.
though.

Tried it, and nothing. Same FPS

Tried what? Just installing the driver wont do anything you need to configure it to be used as linked and even if so, chances that this will noticeably improve things are low.
If you think you configured things correctly, post a /var/log/Xorg.0.log and glxinfo -B
But again, this system is low end and you can't and shouldn't expect much from it.

Tried what? Just installing the driver wont do anything you need to configure it to be used as linked and even if so, chances that this will noticeably improve things are low.
If you think you configured things correctly, post a /var/log/Xorg.0.log and glxinfo -B
But again, this system is low end and you can't and shouldn't expect much from it.
i installed prime configured it right, just like on the website.

You should be following the Optimus guide instead. Both seth & V1del know what they're doing with NVIDIA but I do not so you should follow their advice rather than mine.
Code tags rather than quote tags should be used with terminal output (edit your posts please) and you should provide the exact configuration file(s) and/or command(s). A vague description is simply not good enough.

Please edid your posts and use "code" tags, not "quote" tags (you'll see, why)

Not according to your xorg log.
pacman -Qs nividaAs V1del mentioned, you'll need the 390xx drivers from te AUR, https://aur.archlinux.org/packages?O=0&K=390xx
prime-run is found in https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/nvidia-prime/

Don't.
The thing starts off w/ "pacman -Syyu" and the information in some random youtube tutorial will be dated soon.
The wiki explains how to install the 390xx drivers and configure an optimus system - for the 390xx drivers likely using bumblebee/optirun.
@Kozyge, you've not fixed your posts to use code tags and if you won't explain what was wrong with the system, then this thread serves no purpose but promoting a 40 minute youtube video of questionable content and I'd ask V1del to dustbin it.
