after failed upgrade i can no longer get into my desktop (LXQT)

today, after a long time (2-3 months) i did a full system upgrade.
all the packages where installed successfully (including the kernel).
but after all the upgrades where done installing, pacman ran some post-transaction hooks (and also the kernel "things"), and there the computer stopped responding.
it stopped in this line:

Running build hook: [fsck]

and after waiting 15 minutes in this line i rebooted my pc and now i get into this screen forever...

what i tried:
booted into live usb of archlinux, and chroot into my system and then installed (as root) all the native packages using this command:

pacman -Qqn | pacman -S -

and again rebooted my pc but nothing has changed...

Re: after failed upgrade i can no longer get into my desktop (LXQT)

Remove the "quiet" kernel parameter and try to boot only the multi-user.target (2nd link below) and in doubt along "nomodeset"
If that doesn't help, do not reboot using the power button, try whether you get away w/ frenetically pressing ctrl+alt+del and then inspect the journal from the iso: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/System … al_to_view

thank you for the help.
the computer is in a remote location and those things is too complicated for me to explain to the owner of the pc (even i don't fully understand all the things you said here).
but again thank you and i hope in the near future i would travel there and try what you said.
