Hello,
I usually use Arch Linux to perform my job, but i'm not very familiarised into desktop environments, multihead (dual screen) and wayland.
Recently I installed the nvidia drivers to speed up my jobs processes but when i did my computer stop work with my external monitor.

I also checked dmesg but i don't see any relevant log.

Prerequisite nvidia driving a display and working anything on wayland is nvidia-drm.modeset=1 which nvx explicitly doesn't do for reasons.
While I'd generally see the chance of this working on Wayland currently to be low, you should remove nvx and explicitly load nvidia-drm.modeset=1 to have any remote chance of this working: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … de_setting
If this doesn't work and you'd fall back to xorg, you should not use nvx either but normal PRIME support: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME# … er_offload you have a Turing GPU and can thus make full use of the relevant power saving protocols without script hacks.
