I has same issue. mupdf-gl doesn't response to keyboard from WSL2 but mupdf could work.

(Apologies for necrobumping.)
I've also had this problem with mupdf-gl starting a year or some ago, where the window seems to ignore keyboard input altogether but does respond to mouse input (e.g,, ctrl+wheel does zoom).
Anyway, disabling NumLock seems to fix the issue for me...
