Bluetooth loses connection when ssh session is closed

hi yall, having a super strange issue;

this is a headless server using pipewire-pulse,
i connect to my bluetooth speaker no issue,
but when i close my ssh session i lose the connection. (the pulse sink goes away)

i see the pipewire-pulse.service still running if i ssh as another user

tried running pipewire-pulse in a tmux session with verbosity, closing the terminal,
seeing it lose the sink from pulsemixer, but no logs from reguarding being killed or
changing in any way

i've tried loginctl enable linger
also tried adding KillUserProcesses=no to /etc/systemd/logind.conf

looks like some sort of strange interaction between logind, bluetoothd, and pipewire-pulse,
i cant seem to put my finger on it, any help would be appreciated

Re: Bluetooth loses connection when ssh session is closed

it might caused by wireplumber, for some seat changing features.
found a usable solution here: https://www.spinics.net/lists/arch-gene … 49452.html

tested on a headless Arch 6.7.5-zen1-1-zen, wireplumber 0.4.17-1, pipewire 1:1.0.3-1
