warning: could not get file information for var/log/journal/

Hello guys, recently i made some big changes on the layout of my installation and it seems like i lost the logs that used to be in /var/log/jounral and /var/log/old. Since than when updating the system pacman has been warning me with messages like in the title.
I have recreated the two directories but it seems like nothing is ever written in them. Not sure how i can solve it.

Please be more specific. Post the full list of exact commands involved in those changes.

If that output is from 'ls -g /var/log' then the systemd-journal directory should look something like this:

drwxr-sr-x+ 1 systemd-journal       0 Dec 21 10:31 journal

Delete that directory and set

Storage=persistent

in /etc/systemd/journald.conf then reboot.

Don't try to set the permissions manually. Just delete the journal directories and let systemd recreate them. Read my last post again, you don't seem to have finished it.
