Hi,
I have seen a few screenys of Gnome + OB just wondered what the advantage of this is?

Having a window manager that's fast and doesn't suck. Compare the window trails in Openbox and Metacity and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Yeah but why run Gnome as well... ?
Openbox on its own is fine here....

I've been using a few monitors this week and installing Gnome alongside Openbox has certainly saved me ages messing around with fonts.conf. I think I might stick with it - smb browsing in Nautilus is going to be helpful for me, I like evince, might start using epiphany, nice to have an easy and consistent way to change the icons and such.. etc etc. Sometimes it's just nice to not have to mess around so much.
The only reason I usually get sick of Gnome is because on Arch at least, it tends to have some bothersome bugs. You never know when the next update is going to break the volume manager or something. :?
