HP Elitebook No audio [SOLVED]

Hi All

I have an elitebook 840 G7 that I installed arch on

I'm able to get audio working on external sound devices....Bluetooth earphones....External speaker

But I can't get the internal speakers working...Does that mean it is a driver issue??

pavucontrol shows no devices

I use wireplumber

You most likely didn't install sof-firmware, do so and reboot. Note the hint in: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Instal … l_packages

If that didn't help post

aplay -lL
pactl list cards
pactl list sinks

sof-firmware wasn't installed
