Follow is my device:

OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Host: NH5x_7xRCx,RDx
Kernel: 6.1.9-arch1-1
Resolution: 1920x1080
DE: GNOME 43.2
CPU: Intel i7-9750H (12) @ 4.500GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile
GPU: Intel CoffeeLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics 630]
Memory: 2517MiB / 15831MiB

When I use yay-S nvidia to install the nvidia driver and other common software, and then reboot, I get a black screen

The following are my Xorg.0.log:

Re: Unable to boot after installing nvidia driver, black screen

I have tried following https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA/Tips_and_tricks
and I have installed the latest packages using yay -Syyu

Re: Unable to boot after installing nvidia driver, black screen

Please use "code" tags, not "quote" tags. Edit your post in this regard.
Check the pacman manpage to see what the second "y" actually does and then stop using that unless you really. REALLY. mean to.

This is a hybrid graphics system and there're no outputs attached to the nvidia GPU
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA_Optimus and under no circumstances use nvidia-settings or nvidia-xconfig to generate a config!

Unless you can disable it in the BIOS you cannot not use the intel graphics unless you also attach an output to the nvidia GPU.
You can run the server on the nvidia GPU, but you'll have to redirect its output to the IGP to act as CRTC (post the pixels to your monitor)

Re: Unable to boot after installing nvidia driver, black screen

I'm still not sure how to do it

Start with "what do you *want* to do".
Read the linked page about the options and make up your mind about that.

can you give me more details

Generically, beyond what's in the wiki? No.
If you've specific questions, sure.
