vlc doesn't open rtsp stream

I'm trying to open rtsp stream with vlc:

$ vlc rtsp://admin:pass@192.168.1.111:554 
VLC media player 3.0.18 Vetinari (revision 3.0.13-8-g41878ff4f2)
[0000563e61e44c40] vlcpulse audio output error: PulseAudio server connection failure: Connection refused
[00007f9a5c0015d0] satip stream error: Failed to setup RTSP session

The version installed is: VLC media player 3.0.18 Vetinari (revision 3.0.13-8-g41878ff4f2)

Trying to open the same stream with ffplay everything works fine.

I also tried to open the stream with vlc (ver. 3.0.9.2) in Linux Mint with no errors.

What could be the reason of that error?

I installed live-media as suggested in that link, and now vlc works again!
