[solved] Lenovo Slim 7 ProX display issue

I have this laptop with nvidia rtx (10de:25e2). I tried to install arch and the gnome desktop but after booting I see this.
Whan can I do to fix the display? I only need the nvidia gfx in windows (dual boot), amd-only gfx would be fine for me.

Did you actually read your linked ArchWiki page? The answer is there. Tip: the video section.

If I add "blacklist nouvau" to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf I can't even boot to console as I get the display issue immediately. Maybe it's because of the nvidia driver which I installed before... I'll reinstall linux and see how it goes

Try enabling an early KMS start for your AMD iGPU: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel … _KMS_start

No idea about the NVIDIA blob though. I hate NVIDIA.

Thanks! Specifying "amdgpu" fixed my problem.

I verified the official nvidia driver can be also installed and used instead, by specifying the "nvidia nvidia_modeset nvidia_uvm nvidia_drm" boot options.
