Libvirt+qemu+spice won't start guests at boot when using DHCP

I've found my virtual machines won't start at boot time when the machine's management interface is configured using DHCP (due to spice not being able to find an interface to open a port on besides loopback).
I've tried a number of things but they don't seem to have any influence on this behaviour.

- Creating /etc/conf.d/libvirt-guests setting START_DELAY
- Updating the libvirt.service and libvirt-guests.service files to After=network-online.target instead of just online.

These don't have any influence on the start process of the guests at boot time.
The guests start fine if I issue the command manually after boot or when I set a fixed IP address on the management interface.
