mouse problem - xscreensaver's fault?

Hi,

I have a slight problem with my computer.

Every once in a while (i.e. pretty much randomly), when the xscreensaver has been active for some time, and I try to log in again and work (well...do something), the mouse is crashed (no pointer), and I cannot do anything anymore except with the keyboard (and even that fails sometime (although rarely)). Anyhow, I have to push ctrl-alt-backspace to kill the server and restart it. I am using evdev for mouse and touchpad in xorg.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Cheers,
Blind
