Can't copy photos from iOS

Hi all:

I have never been able since switching to Arch to copy photos and videos from my iPhone's file system to my home directory.

I've looked over the iOS page on the Wiki numerous times. I can view my photos on the iOS file system fine, but I can never copy anything -- I get the error from KDE Plasma

Unable to create KIO worker. Unknown protocol 'gphoto2.'

I have libimobiledevice, usbmuxd, gvfs-gphoto2, ifuse installed. Since the error is gphoto2 related I installed gphoto2 as well.

I must be missing something here -- probably a simple fix I'm just not seeing.

Arch is up-to-date as of today, 13 February. I use Nemo as my file manager.

Thanks so much to anyone that can help with this!

Re: Can't copy photos from iOS

assuming you are using dolphin:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/IOS#Us … le_manager

To access iOS files using Dolphin, install solid-gitAUR and kio-extras-gitAUR. This will expose both the media and app document filesystems.

gvfs is not for kde apps

EDIT: dammit didnt see that you are using nemo.... im out of ideas sorry
EDIT2: last idea

To access the app document filesystem, install gvfs-afc.
