[SOLVED] Why are GNOME package versions so fragmented and old?

If I look at the package version of GNOME packages, I see that they are very fragmented and sometimes really old. Is there a reason or is there simply a lack of a maintainer?

I would appreciate to be able to benefit from all the latest bugfixes.

I typed "gnome" into the Arch package search page and only see "gnome-subtitles" flagged out of date.  Can you clarify what your issue is?

Okay, my fault. I thought, since GNOME 43.4 is out, all relevant packages got an update with increased version number. Like KDE. But I checked some random packages and they are already on the latest git tag.
