I want to try Arch Linux but I usually install a distro a week or so before the new vesion comes out... just trying to avoid that happen this time around.

Is the answer:
no one knows for sure, but odds are before Christmas?
or, there is no guess whatsoever?
I skimmed over those threads and read about some hardware detection issues that should be cleared up with the next release. I have a difficult to setup hardware issue. I need to wait for the next realease. I am merely trying to get a really rough idea of days, weeks, months or years.

Hell, its annoying to everybody, but its a pretty low priority if you've already got Arch installed.

Do you know for a fact that arch won't install on your current hardware? If not, just try it.
