Hello everyone, I'm having a strange issue with my microphone and headphones. By default, neither of them seem to work properly. When I try to play a video on websites like YouTube, it freezes and won't play until I mute the audio.
Another odd thing is that if I go to Pavucontrol -> Configuration -> Profile, and switch to a different profile and then switch back to my original profile (profile1), it often fixes the issue with both my audio and microphone.
Can someone suggest a solution to this problem? I want my headphones to work properly for both input and output by default. I have already tried using pacmd set-default-source ... but it didn't solve the issue.

You most likely have wireplumber and pulseaudio installed which will conflict. If you want to stick to pulseaudio switch to pipewire-media-session if you want to switch to pipewire entirely keep wireplumber but install pipewire-pulse instead of pulseaudio.
