So I got my laptop an was able to install basic Arch on it with X11 and both: Intel and nVidia drivers for GPUs. Followed the wiki meticulously (as far as I'm aware). Now, before I will install my favorite DE (KDE), ArchWiki states:
Before installing Plasma, make sure you have a working Xorg installation on your system. Now, last time I needed to install Arch was couple years ago, and I don't rememeber how to do that, and cannot find any easy way to check X11 works flawlessly form the console.
What's the easiest way?

"... being a Linux user is sort of like living in a house inhabited by a large family of carpenters and architects. Every morning when you wake up, the house is a little different. Maybe there is a new turret, or some walls have moved. Or perhaps someone has temporarily removed the floor under your bed."

You can just install plasma and try to start that, you will notice if xorg fails. The "simplest" way is installing xorg-xinit and running the startx command which will give you a Xorg with a clock and three xterm windows, but that line in the wiki isn't really hugely relevant.

Well, unfortunatelly that line in the ArchWiki seems relevant, as when I've installed KDE and enabled SDDM, after reboot I'm stuck with hanging system without any output in the console. The only thing I can do is turn the power off.
Seems to my like some issue with two GPUs.

The only thing I can do is turn the power off.
Switch to another VT? (ctrl+alt+f3)
accesed from Windows
3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
[ 7.154] (==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"Get rid of that file. Don't use nvidia-settings/xonfig to generate a config file, especially not on a hybrid system and in general static server configs are a bad idea and actively discouraged.

Thanks seth for your contribution.
You were right - SDDM and Plasama are starting after I've removed xorg.conf file. Unfortunately after login into the KDE, my keyboard is not working and my mouse also acts weirdly - i.e. I cannot select any entry with a left-click. Strangely enought both - the keyboard and mouse - seem to work well while I'm typing my credentials to SDDM. Is this because I've removed xorg.conf whcih contained some configuration for mouse and keyboard?
P.S. I always turn off hibernation and fast start in Windows.

Rather not. Especially since nvidia-settings add input devices w/ drivers which haven't existed in over a decade…
Does the mouse cursor move?
Can you switch to a VT w/ ctrl+alt+F3 ?
I cannot select any entry with a left-click
Select an entry where? What can you do w/ the mouse?
Offline
Yes, I can move the mouse cursor, but when I click KDE menu (the left-click works), I cannot select anything within the menu. Neither I can type anything within the menu.

So for all we know the KDE "menu" is broken.
Can you launch some other process and interact with that?

And this is indeed why that line is there. If you test a simple Xorg setup, you can confirm whether or not graphics drivers, input, and other general factors are working. When you install a huge DE and DM and something goes wrong, it is much harder to know if the problem is xorg, drivers, hardware, DM, DE, applications (e.g., the menu itself), etc.
If I were you, I'd go back and test a simple WM (e.g., twm with an xterm or three) and see if everything works there - though the recommendation above should acheive the same goal - I just prefer to eliminate extraneous variables: e.g., if the "other process" also fails, it still may not be an Xorg/driver level issue but could just be a KDE-specific issue in a library shared between the menu and the"other process" or even the KDE WM itself getting in the way somehow.

I dug a little bit more into this issue, and it seems to me it could be related to window manager itself. Why I think so?
1. When I login I cannot see any wallpaper, the mouse and keyboard behave like I described above.
2. When I switch to a different console, and the revert back to the desktop on tty1 for few seconds mouse and keyboard are working properly and the generic KDE wallpaper can be seen. Sometimes I see some graphical glitches, then everything is as previously.
Drivers? Reinstalling both for Intel and nVidia didn't help.

Wayland session seems to work very good, I didn't nocite any serious issues. However, I would prefer to use X11 becasue I'm not familiar with Wayland and read about some major drawbacks still present in it.

Remove xf86-video-intel, it's not maintained on newer iGPUs

Was what you read current? I was pretty skeptical about wayland for quite a while, but it has certainly caught up to X11, and I imagine less and less development / bug-fixing / testing will be going into X11-related code.
However, if the issues are specific to the X11 session, then V1del's note on the intel driver is almost certainly the cause.

Uninstalling xf86-video-intel di help, so it was the culprit package. I wonder why it didn't affect Wayland as it did X11.

While searching for some info I've run into this ---> https://community.kde.org/Plasma/Wayland_Showstoppers

You wonder why an Xorg video driver didn't affect something that isn't Xorg?

Mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
