Hello, I am having a very weird issue.
Pavucontrol is able to detect headphones, hell it even show that the speakers are unavailable. However, there's no sound coming out of the headphones and the speakers, are, in fact, very much active because all the sound still come out of them.
And the headphone mic also is not being detected.
Here are some commands:

If I put my headphone into my monitor, the headphone does work, but I would still have the issue with the mic. Sooooo...
And important note, All volumes are at maximun, all sounds come out from the speaker regardless.
Also, the internal mic of the notebook works.

CA0132/creative chips are a notorious PITA and likely something not fully implemented in the driver here, FWIW what do you get from

By the way, this is an alienware 15 r2 (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us … 2/overview), if that's relevant

Oh, there we go, that worked, the mic didn't, but it wasn't working in windows before so the p3 to p2 adapter might be faulty on the mic end.
Ok, nevermind, I disconnected the headphone and then connected again, the commands do not work any longer
And then they worked again. Weird.
