[SOLVED] How to get USB stick auto mount in Nautilus?

Dear all smile

I am using i3vm, and have just installed Nautilus, but then I insert an USB stick, Nautilus doesn't see it. When I ran Fedora and i3wm the USB stick would show up in the left column, and double clicking it, would mount it.

Does anyone know how I can get that functionality with Arch?

Hugs,
Sandra smile

Will minimally need gvfs but not sure whether Nautilus triggers that on it's own or you'd need more gnome components.

As a basic precondition for any of these to work your session needs to be set up properly, if you are using startx, make sure you've read and applied the notes under: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xinit#xinitrc

Thanks a lot! That did the trick smile

I also installed extra/gvfs-mtp, so now my Android phone also auto mounts.
