I got it back yesterday, together with a tweaked wxGTK to fix crash and other problems. New hacks are added:
- Workaround crash-on-exit problem (wxgtk-aqd)
- Better compatibility with your GTK theme (wxgtk-aqd)
- Better picture scaling, now the album picture looks perfect! (wxgtk-aqd & wxmusik)
- Middle-click on an album to replace playlist (wxmusik)
(you do not have to use wxgtk-aqd to run wxmusik)

Nice, I was going to try wxMusic some days ago, but the packages were outdated and I was to lazy to build my own.
Maybe I will try it later, but not now, I'm happy with MOC

Ah, it's not outdated, there hasn't been new release for several months. The devs are still working on integration with a new sound engine (fmodex & xine) I think.

Add support for last.fm! · It needs lastfmsubmitd (in community repos), and you have to start the daemon (/etc/rc.d/lastfmsubmitd) to actually send out track info.
· The lastfm spool must be in the default place (/var/spool/lastfm)
· The current user must be in audio group (so you can write to the spool dir)
· Launch wxMusik with the environment variable MUSIK_ENABLE_LASTFM=1
· It sends last.fm info after a song is finished normally (not skipped or stopped manually).

I didn't mean it was outdated because it was an old version, I meant that it was outdated because some dependencies weren't available and things like that, so, it wasn't installable from the binary package.

Ah, but all dependencies are in repositories, you only need to get fmod by yourself (which is in my repos)

aquila_deus > wxMusik-cvs is a welcome update from previous wxMusik
I'm still fighting a bit with it as it shows double or triple on some of my tracks. But overall it is largely better than previous. and ya the middle clic to replace playlist is cool
